Pulled my engine and gearbox out today. So had to drain gearbox oil. 1. What type should I be using to replace it with? 2. How much do I need? 3. Where's the fill level?

I use vauxhalls stuff. Fill plug on the top, level plug on the side. Flat level ground, bang 2 litres in and let it level itself then put the plugs back in.

Cheers so I'm assuming just rock up to stealers and for some gearbox oil for a VX220.

The more oil you put in the more likely to p*ss out through the breather. Its not like we see loads of boxes fail through overheating.
