Because that does the exact opposite and makes the "throw" from one gear to another longer (and sloppier).Why not get a longer gear stick adaptor http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191312955199

I'm also after a shift light the same or similar to that as 7000rpm on the standard dash is not enoughHow about the shift light or tacho LEDs. Any cloister picture's. Remember that the motorsport golf rallye had a shift tower similar to that.
