Just got back, after an extra night in Ghent. 830 miles all in. Doing Brugge and Ghent makes it an even more epic trip.
Last year was great and this one easily matched it, I will be there again and again as can see no way of topping a track day on one of the best, if not the best circuit, at a beach in Holland with a bunch of people who think a like and enjoy a pint as much as me. Great, to have my wife come along as well and really makes it feel like a holiday with a brilliant track day in the middle.
Had some great scraps through the day. It was particularly entertaining having Dave E so close behind me up the straight that I couldn't see his bonnet (not so fun for Mandy his passenger), and painful to have to let him past, again. Two good stints with Cris and a day where I became a bit of a part time circuit bus, having fun taking out 7 different passengers. 6 normal ballast and one a more solid individual who gave me some good pointers (5 Oclock).
Great videos Chris. Pleased to say I improved my lines a bit on the mid section as the day went on (5 oclock top tips) but fun to watch us in action. As ever all the vx's were really on form.
There really is no other track event that tops this one.

I could tell you'd had tips! Barely keeping up with you in the second run and you had a passenger onboard.
Made your car about the same weight overall as a (so called) lardy turbo then!
Agreed all the Vxs put up a good showing again against the Lotus lot.

This was the first year ever we had noise warnings during a 9 to 5 session.
Can people that got a warning list their specs? (SC or tubby, and exhaust setup and/or db reducers used?)

Expantaa:
2.0 B207, ported head, St2 cams , Harrop 80mm. Tullett 2,5 mani + silencer, kat replacement pipe with a 4"silencer and a single endpipe.
Got black flagged during the day when my car went notably louder, so rest of the day driving @75%.
(Have to check if I miss some wadding...)
Good to meet some of the forum names in real live and shame Lee's car kept misfiring... (Have to morally support the Harrop boys. )

Some rough guesstimates Track £220 Fuel £ 150 Ferry £150 2nights hotel £120 Food £100 Drinks up to you Track insurance £50 Total £790 Can you put a price on a few days with some great people, great cars, great track, sun, sea, sand, food ,drink? Roll on Dijon in a few weeks!Whats the all up cost for one of these trips, including fuel, ferry, hotel, grub, track cost etc etc?
Budget for around £1k all-in for a eurotrip and you won't be far off. Fuel cost for me was more. Closer to £250.
Thats 500 road miles@30mpg and 180 track miles@8mpg. The economy goes down the toilet on track.
