Probably making some noise quota room for the Historic Grand Prix of next weekend. :ninja:

We also spoke about Assen briefly, but its a pure moto circuit and (as said) not very thrilling for cars. Better 2 x LOT Zandvoort??

Thanks Stefan, but fcuk me they're expensive! :o

Yes, most euro TDO's are like that.

It shows how well the LOT system is when it only needs to feed a few people..

Best TD combo I ever did was Spa and Zandvoort back to back, Paul offered some ridiculous hotel deal as well.

I haven't been to Abbeville for probably 5 years now and can still remember every corner and every bump there. It's just plain boring unless it's wet and you want to practice drifting.

I'm never going back there. Glorified Kart circuit. You might be able to justify it if you live on the south coast. Frankly with Oulton and Donington on my doorstep why would I bother ?

having done both , Dijon and Zandy , whats your verdict, both in their time F1 circuits ?

Why have we never done folembray, ist not far from the coast, and is apparently really good and generally cheap. I know its in France but apart from that it seems worth a go.

Both Dijon and Zandy are superb. Both are a challenge with changing camber and elevation.

I would happily go back to each every year.

As a complete package maybe Zandy just edges it with the beach and short drive from the Hoek. Bit of a trek to Dijon that you really have to break up into 2 days. Centre of Dijon is quite nice tho'!

I think there are a couple of us that have now done both : Sutol, P11COV, Joss. Maybe they can add their impressions ?

I was really impressed with Zandy, as such I think that is my new eurotrip destination. Dijon is a great track but it's too blimming far away. Zandy also has the beach which wifey enjoyed. The hotel is opposite the circuit etc etc - it just ticks all the boxes :)

Well all I can say is zandvoort is a epic track can't wait to go with a car that works properly ,the flow and layout is spot on , As all of the vx track days it's not all about the driving and this deff was the case for me the people and Holland made it for me I can't wait until next year I even might do it twice :-) or even move to Holland lol

From memory I'd probably put Dijon slightly above Zandy as far as drving the track goes. (Will be able to test that out in afew weeks whenwe do Dijon again)

Certainly Zandy wins on location/accommodation. Dijon is a long trek and also quite a drive from the town centre. Zandy is perfect with track, hotel, beach within minutes and a short drive if you do the Harwich crossing.
