Why bother, tax disc is more expensive than the transporter back and forth. Could be a good museum peice.

I would assume about £280-290, as they always charge more than 50% of the annual rate for a 6 month disc.

£205 upset me... Now I feel old. My two cars cost me just £50... And I only we only do about 30k miles a year in them.

never ever had a tax disc on display on the VX , the Plans shiny holder never stayed on for more than five minutes, plus I really like an uncluttered windscreen view , so hate any dangling stuff from the mirror or stickers on the screen.

I think its one of the VX features with the roof off, that you are connected to the outside without having massive A pillars and windows down. Just enough protection from the elements you can duck down out of the rain and cold, but able to enjoy a panarama view of the night sky.

What I meant was, your suggestion was in jest - not that it wasn't factual Steve. ;)

Is it not a legal requirement to have TD visible? I know law will change etc but assumed you always need it on show.
