Yeah the industrial estate. One of the taxi drivers recommended it and I noticed a couple of taxis in the car park. Taxis tend to avoid the cowboys as word soon gets around if a place is untrustworthy or does substandard work.

Hi Graham, I agree with what most people have said here stick to a VX220 specialist or Lotus for me. The Vx is a unique car and you can't beat the service you get from someone who works with the cars day to day and knows the car inside out. I used to travel down to Thorney Motor Sport in Milton Keynes when I lived in York, they used to charge £150-170 for standard service from memory. Bit a distance but worth it in my view

Thanks for the advice H7MNT. I know you are right I just wanted to find someone closer to home. Its not the cost just the traveling.
I know Doncaster has a Vauxhall garage (not sure what it is called) who serviced it a few years ago. (found them in the cars history). I've spoken to them and they let me know they have serviced a few VXs but once again, I know they are not a specialist I don't think.
