I'm not sure how all that damage could have been done to the radiator without damaging the crash box. I'm trying to work out what kind of accident could have done that kind of damage to the radiator.
Get some pics of the front end with the clam removed. It's worth having someone in the know take a look. Damage in this area will compromise yours and other's safety.
I'd also suggest a new clam, it's fractured quite badly in multiple places.

Cannot get my head around that radiator damage. Just below the bonnet there is no damage so wasn't from something that high up so was low and only down the centre of the clam.
So new radiator, surround, crashbox then there is the clam repair work which will take a significant amount of time to get right and paint on top. 3k any day, 2k if your getting 'mates' rates.

Looks like a fence post or something similar has entered through the front of the clam just above the "V" looks like a lot of the clam damage might have been caused extracting as parts are pulled outwards. Might have just gone over the top of the crash box, taking out the rad and housing. Is the brake servo OK?

That's a good shout. There's a puncture hole at the front of the clam which suggests a post or rod could have entered and hit the radiator. He'd be extremely lucky to have not damaged the crash box or rad mountings.
I certainly wouldn't be giving this car to a fibreglass guy to patch up and putting it back on the road. It needs to be inspected by someone who knows these cars. I'd suggest asking someone on here to pop by and have a look at it for you.

think the towbar is looking like a culprit here, crash box not really touched to be honest, my mate seems confident he can reoair it all and hes a spray specialist so colour match should be fine, still sticking to my 1k estimate!!

surely if the crash box is not crumpled damaged it would still function as intended again?? only touched the top part and pushed a bit down? the side structures are untouched as is the front lower level that take the impact.
