Need some quick advice guys.

As I repaired my front clam, I removed the old mesh and binned it. I've ordered new stuff but it hasn't arrived yet. Thinking I can get ahead of myself I've fitted the front clam and thought I'd take it off and fit the mesh next week.

All well and good but something just popped into my head regarding getting it mot'd without the mesh. The toe eye bracket - would that fail the mot as it may be 'deemed' sharp/dangerous despite the mesh and v not doing much to protect anybody/thing in the event of an accident.

Will ask when I book it in, but that relies on the front desk people being able to give me an answer.

Cheers in advance!

I would be more concerned about a stray stone fuggering the rad whilst on the road Bit of plastic mesh from bn q and a few cable ties would make do

MOt station is 2 mins down the road and has road works all the way so crawl along at 10 miles an hour.

Mark I expect your right, however just booked it in and when I said its a vx220 the chap next to him at the desk was saying he'd been on a PH meet/run at the weekend with a heavily modified blue tubby with BGW.

Chris - I might very well go that route, as fixing the mesh on is a right pita and I'm enjoying cable ties atm. Much better than nuts/bolts haha :D

Just thought if you get done lightweight plastic mesh and squeeze it in the clam opening then tie it to the towing eye it should be ok
