My wife is 5' 1 and can sit in the back if the passenger seat is all the way forward. Its not that comfortable a place for her to be but its doable short term. Somewhat ironically its the headroom she struggles with. Im 5' 11 and i only I fit sideways and its not fun at all. They are for storage and emergencies only! It seems easier to sell a +2 car second hand with the +0 tending to hang around a wee bit longer. Cant see why you'd choose a +0 though....even if you never use the seats.Great choice. Be interested in reading updates with how you get on. I've often wondered if it's actually possible to get a human in those rear seats?

Its funny i thought exactly the same before i saw it "in the flesh" and now im not so sure. Parked next to a sr it definitely looks the poor relation but im not sure it needs it..... Or maybe it does. Or maybe its stunning the way it is. Or ill put vinyl on it. Possibly. Hmmm. Its even acceptable in white.. You just need black mirrors and the black side skirt bits (like the SR) IMO - gives it that pinched in waist look.. Anyway, as above, bar steward..

I'd be interested in knowing the reliability/running costs etc..
I currently have a gayman and was thinking of something else that's a bit rarer.
Looks great in white.

Would have thought the V6 lump is pretty much bulletproof, but worry that the 'box will be the weakest link. Best think is to not let Bob drive it... that should help avoid any big maintenance bills.

Personally think this looks great (even for white). If its wrapped its easy to remove of course..

This one has been up for sale for a while, recently dropped to it current asking price, now seems a bit too cheap... - ticks alot of boxes for me, and I like them in either red or silver..

200 miles over some of my favourite scottish roads today.
I fcuking love this car.
Handling is effortless.....it's just so competent almost to the extent that it's laughing at me saying "really? You braked for this?"
3rd gear in the long (or standard) box takes you from 50 mph to well over 100 with a lovely noist e to boot. Above 60 it feels much much faster than my NA VX (fairly obviously i guess)
Air con works, you can hear the stereo and mrs donkey ended up falling asleep during one section/ Based on my limited exposure so far this car will do everything you ask of it......it's just fantastic. Saw 19mpg on the 'puter at parts of the run, but finished the day showing 27mpg after a gentle cruise home. Will measure it accurately when i fill up next.
Faults so far ?
Hmmmm the "chrome" bezel round the instrument pack catches the light and glints at you, the door glass creaks after you first pull away, but then shuts up........6th gear is really long (like sub 2k revs at 70) so you dont always get a chance to use it. Air con works but on full blast it sounds like a plane taking off. Oh and i can't get it up the steep ramp into my garage.....so having to get a builder out ! lol
Think ill like this car.
