Have to agree with MaxR, this post is unenecssary. Cut the personal jibes and digs, it doesn't help anyone and just makes you look like a fool. At least try to keep it on topic or don't post.maybe it could be powered by scuffs shite? I believe for 2018 f1 is going ego powered so he will be on a winnerI found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251576044790 Who is chipping in, This will sort the boys from the men, Do you think we could put a b207 Saab in it

Is this thread still going, do we have a winner yet?
I'm not a fan of TT , I don't think one lap really proves anything.

MaxR and Coco are 100% correct. Really tired of hearing from the few elite wannabes on this forum, the lead up to the National was bad enough At least now I can activate Slindys secret button & start my own list!Have to agree with MaxR, this post is unenecssary. Interesting posts and perspectives.
Im going a different route than most people with my elise, I know my limitations as a driver and putting a number of drivers in the car will make the car much faster.
I have infact tried to hide my skills by building a car which i hope would be competitive(285bhp/710kg) so that ive not got the club rwd guys lapping me at every circuit.
I think it all depends what the OP actually wants to do, does he just want to have fun or does he want to win......that will dicate what type of car he builds I would think.
So I think im going to win, nope, but I hope at least to be a little competitive.
If your first round is at brands im hoping mine will be aswell so it would be nice to compare notes.

its an s1 elise, so I dont have to carry any extra weight around like later models.
Its currently 710kg, but ill be taking the weight down to 680kg when im finished, it would be 600kg if it has standard wheels, no turbo or aero.
if the question is to me about a track day then yes that would be cool, im hoping to get a track session on normal road tyres next month to give it a shake down and see whats good and bad, you hoping to have yours track ready for september for shakedown purposes?

J13ME and turbotoaster; see if you can get on a Croft Trackday with Javelin and we can have a good shakedown and I will happily be here at circuit to help if needs be. May even run mine out as a benchmark.
