Could you show us a pic of the header itself please.
Of course.
I'm going back over to the garage tonight.
I'll take some pictures with a ruler next to it, so you can see for yourself.
They're a bit hard to take off, as it is somewhat involved, so i am going to leave them on if you don't mind ...

Glad you guys like it
When i first pitched the idea on here, the reaction was a definite "meh".
We'll see how she sounds under load.
Can't wait to get this thing on the road.

So, i have some new videos up.
Need headphones or good speakers, else you won't hear the idle, as it's below the freq response of many laptop speakers and such.
Headers up close and some revs:
Start and idle, and ... well ... some more revs, this time short blips to show the low rev response that UEL headers give:
I'm also taking some pics of the headers as requested. Will append in a bit.

Sounds fantastic, but I'm pretty sure you'll need earplugs for longer trips on the highway.
And I'm very curious if you will succeed in passing the Belgian MOT, as I know someone who failed as they wouldn't accept his SC-conversion. He had to convert it back to stock to get it through the MOT.

Noise is not an issue. This is a hooning mobile.
I bought a lotus elise 1.6 as a DD.
MOT is not really that big of an issue. The exhaust will need DB killers.
I have the dutch ECU software. If they actually find the SC conversion (BIG IF), i'll just mount a plate to the intake with a TB on it. Will run like sh*t, but hey ho presto no SC.

That sounds amazing
Possibly one of the best sounding Vx's (In my opinion!)

Sorry, no up close pics of the headers today. Was dark by the time i was done cleaning up the garage.
Going back on saturday to do some soldering on the loom, so will do it then.
The main thing to do is to get the ratios right, and to group the pipes in the header correctly.
LONG-SHORT-SHORT-LONG <- as per ignition sequence, from left to right.
Then they all go in to a 4-1. They then split into two pipes with silencers.
