Guys what do you all do for brake cooling, notice a lot of you had ducts from the fogs.  Are these DIY jobbies or that kit thing? 

 

Think there may have been a VX behind me when I had my super moment where I had no brakes coming out of Coram and nearly when straight on but for several pumps of the brake pedal and finally managing to lock the brakes up to scrub enough speed to screech round the corner! Not much run off there and probably the worst place to have brake failure on the track!

I was hoping to put my new DIY cooling ducts to use but in the end being 100+ bhp down I never put the brakes under pressure. I made mine for about £30. DucattiSenna does the proper kit with the disc shroud.

Hi guys and girls I did make it over to Snett at about lunch time but then end up catching up with the RX8 and blagging a few passenger rides off them after lunch but I was at least able to get my car noise test and it was only 101db which is good news😀 . Mine was the orange one parked up the towards the top end of the pits with the RX8s. I didn't see many VXs out on track after lunch but there was a quick silver one with a big wing and the rear bumper cut out with grill/vent plates in it that wasn't hanging around, there were also few nice ones in the pits as well. Hopefully next time I'll come over and say hi and might well have my one on track.

No cooling at all on mine. Just decent pads and fluid = no brake fade (although I seem to have killed a front set of Pagid RS14 pads in under 5k miles)

Nope, cheap & cheerful Mobius. Not specifically a track camera hence needing to work out the best way to save & upload the files.
