Looks great, I've done lots of car wrapping and if it's done right there should be no issues. Trick is the prep in terms of taking off trim etc, and cleaning the surface before bonding.

Hardest bit on a VX is the bonnet and boot because taking the mesh off would be a pain. Because you want a sealed edge a bit of high temp sealant will do the job. I did this to mine last year.

I plastidipped my fuel filler cap and it looked great for a while but a dribble of petrol hit it when filling up and it just dissolved the dip, so I wouldn't do it again.

One word of advice though, think well about the carpets. Having them in place traps air/moisture, and can lead to corrosion in the cabin. Do a search on here and seloc a few people have had it.

Still a bit undecided... Will be something a lot brighter though (not too bright, a nice amount!)

Took some photos of it at work tonight

I take photos of cars every day, most are shiny and a very high quality paint. It's nice to have something of my own that is a bit different and trust me, it's easier to shoot well than any gloss finish on a car as you don't need to worry about hot spots or anything like that

A hot spot is a small reflection of a light source reflected into the camera :)  Much more likely in night photography.

Lighting cars is important sometimes to get the look you're after (commercial look often)

For example this shot had to be lit, and there are hotspots all over the car, but it's for a detailer who wanted to show how much shine there is an how the car repels water now

How did you light that shot ?

How many sources

how many layers

how many shots in the bracket.

Did you comp in the water splash on the rear quarter and wheel ?

Nice shot

I'd rather not give too much away on how I do it, other photographers might see ;)

ETA: all water is real though in the photo
