I'm pretty sure mine must have a cracked manifold. I stuck my head in the engine bay and the noise is definitely not coming from the evap valve area. Access to get the manifold off with clam on looks nearly impossible!

Yes, but it did sound as though it was coming from behind my right shoulder. Now only hope that the tullet gets to Jez before i leave for Dijon.I think its a cracked exhaust manifold
