Could someone point me in the right direction for the wire I need to splice into to connect a switch for the relay on the water pump for the charge cooler

Thanks

Cheers tom. Also, wiring in tmap, obd manual says pin 1, 2 and 3. My map sensor has a, b, c. Is it as obvious as I think it is a=1 and so on? The IAT has no markings on that I can see. How would I distinguish pin 1 from 2 Thanks

I think your plug for the TMAP should have numbers, rather than the sensor

in terms of wiring the IAT leads into the TMAP, you need to check the wires for a common ground (use a multi meter) on the IAT and MAP, they both combine into pin 1, therefore process of elimination leaves the remaining IAT lead as pin 2

Thanks. No ecu or battery in the car at the moment, so guess that will have to wait. Thanks

You don't need them in to check it, power doesn't run through the ground, just set the multi meter to a resistance measurement (1k for example) and test for a low resistance between the two wires, that means they're connected and therefore share the same ground.

The sensor wires rub through the ecu connector to ground, so you need to connect the ecu to check this! a,b,c = 1,2,3...

Water pump > use pin 8; fuel pump steering wire. White/purple on most. (That thick wire is pin 1, main 12v feed to ecu, so count from there)
