You do need a remap for higher redline to make the most of the 2.4. But note for track or if you like driving at the revier end of the tacho

Ok, there are no more Millteks - they have all been sold, and there won't be any more.

What other options do I have for a backbox that doesn't constantly drone and won't get me booted off trackdays? Tullet??  Janspeed will make some if I can find 4 other people that want one.

I've spoken to Hayward and Scott and they'll make me one but they aren't cheap (although they are probably the best)

I'd say the Tullett is as good quality, if not better than the H&S exhausts, I've seen. They were thoroughly unimpressive when I took my car to them a few years ago too. thumbsdown Something wrong with the standard exhaust? That's the best for noise. Or fit a turdo backbox and U bend to your NA downpipe/cat section.

Standard exhaust is too quiet and I want something a little louder.

Does the turbo backbox just bolt on? And are they much louder than the NA one?

Have a pax with someone who has one fitted. I had people telling me I'd bring down buildings once I got it SC'd. But just had a noise test today at Oulton - 98 db, same as when it was NA. It's not actually that loud, just loads of character.

Is it quite a different sound from a NA with Larini to an SC with one?

Ollie2007's larini measured 103db on drive by when I measured it. It's just embarrassingly loud. I've got a miltek on my SC and it's too quiet but does mean no bother with track noise limits. Maybe check someone with a Tullett or vse?

If you just want a little more noise, why not Pipo-mod the original rear silencer?

http://www.dbilas-sh...80mm::1780.html i got this one and i'm very happy about it. Not very loud but a nice decent noise in the back and the price is also okay.

My daughter is now running a modded original exhuats backbox and it sounds nice without being loud. The info on how to do it is on here somewhere, we bought it ready done.

Glad it's on the car now Martin. blood sweat and tears went into that. Does sound nice though. I'll post a sound/video clip in a moment.
