still, i'm always debating to remove them wondering if it would improve the look.

IMO yes, a lot haha

the paint had permanent written on it so I gathered it would be, but no.. maybe its because my car gets filthy before I wash it or maybe I abused it on track, no idea.

If I can be bothered to do it again I will try something else.

Did you clean the spots on the tires beforewhere you painted them?

I didn't mind it but only did it to complete the LMQ look.

You went even further... i only used cold water with washing liquid, not warm... haha!

I'm not saying the paint i used is better. It looks like a cheap product and i'm curious to see how it'll last, not expecting much (it's a GERMAN product however!  :tt: ).

Ahh man, i think i've failed there... no TÜV logo to be found anywhere on the packaging. No consumer protection logo stuff either... very shady stuff for a german product i guess. Maybe they won't shoot the engineer of this one in case the product fails to deliver its promises! :D

There was another from Edding that cost double.

Drove about 1000km now since i've painted the tyres (american english is tires, sorry). Washed the car and sprayed some wheel cleaner on the wheels as well. Drove it hard occasionally. Paint is still there without fading or cracks.

A guy at work has a 4x4, he bought off the shelf, white painted lettering tyres, the tyres have had some bio-degradable blue polythene, this has lasted about 200-400ml & there's still signs of the poly? If this is what it takes from manufacturer, why the F do you want to cheapen it?

^ Not sure i understand what you mean.

I've driven nearly 2'000km since i've painted the tyres... washed it three times including wheels... Paint still looks exactly the same, no cracks, no fading.
