It would have been, right up to the point you got them elsewhere    If they dont arrive and you get stuck I always carry some used ones in my race box

I hate to agree with you Mark but you are spot on .Badge snobbery  

Its not just a badge though in this instance (or indeed any S1). Its the difference between a car with bits bolted on and a car thats been rebuilt from the gound up by a skilled engineer/fabricator. If people cant see the difference then the fault lies with them not the market/buyers etc. Sorry but the bloke was never going to a straight swap for any VX.

I new that , It was worth a try, As I said to Nelson his is by far the best conversion of the Audi set up I have seen from a few conversions, You know what your Honda conversion cost what the heck did this one stand him !

 

Difference is he did all the work himself, I didnt so had labour costs

Lolz at this ever panning out in favour of a VX owner. Got the expected email today saying, thanks for the interest but sold it for cash. Probably loads of, cos it did look freakin lush!
