Has anyone fitted their's yet?

Can it be done without removing the seat/roof?

I would of thought its just take the two fronts bolts out and loosen the rears, then tilt the seat back. Slide the bracket in and bolt back down.

Fitted mine last week, had to cut down an allan key to undo the bolt on the outer side, but after much muttering and bad language was able to remove said bolt.

Bracket slid in quite easily and was duly bolted up (again with lots of ******** words) but if I had to do it again I would but a washer underneath the bracket to enable it to lie a little flatter.

I purchased a Fireater extinguisher from Elise Shop, a tad expensive and hopefully one I will not use but tried a 1.5 litre Dry Powder which was just too big.

All in all, its an accessory that gives me a bit of piece of mind but one I hope will never be used!!

Thanks Vocky for all the hard work involved in setting this up.

ahh that dreaded bolt eh, had to take that out many times. The problem is that the start of the tread gets a bit chewed from multiple attempts to get it to catch so I normally run a tap through it to get it nice and clean. thanks for the info, I'll do it at lunchtime.

OK fitted without too much swearing.

How did you fix your fireeater to the bracket Gadget?
