EliseParts 7/8" front anti-roll bar only, set at mid point of adjustment

You really need the EP 1" ARB, no you really do! ;)

I was using Sachs shocks with their progressive springs, I wanted some Nitrons until you proved a point that Quantums are probably better  :ninja:

Now I have the latest Quantum single adjustable shocks with 450 front and 575 rears.

Height 130mm rear and 120mm front, with ATS dtc 17" wheels - 235 rears and 205 fronts. Not everyones first choice of wheel but I like them  :P

450's is already something up front... You're not planning to go tracking with it now, do you??

(I now have 400-550 on my Q's, also with the 7/8th bar)

as a general point, if your going to change your AR, not much point in buying one less than 1"

to put some numbers to this:

Std ARB is ~40"/lbs

7/8" ARB is basically 3 time stiffer, and adjusts from ~95 to 160"/lbs

1" ARB is 4.5 time stiffer adjusting from ~145 to 240"/lbs

So todays settings

I reduced just the fronts by one click each side, so front are now 14 clicks from full hard and the rear are 15 clicks from full hard. This seems to work quite well with bumpy roads  thumbsup

Front springs 450 and Rear springs 575 - for future search references

Yesterday I set up the front and rear tracking with my Tecalemit tracking gauges, Front  0.4mm toe out overall and Rear 4mm toe in overall.

Took my vx out today and what a difference a few hours playing with the tracking can do  Imnotworthy

Edit: cos I'm stupid

+ve is normally toe in , and -ve toe out , which would make those figures look like they are inverse?

Anyone experience with 550 front and 700 rear for track only use?

What number of clicks would be a good starting point?

Eelco, I would start with something like:

Front: -12 from hard

Rear:  -14 from hard

And work your way up from there. (Ask MaxR as he runs something fairly similar )

Harder at the front?

Would expect it the other way around.

Yep. On my car more rebound (so more hard) at the rear felt not so good on heavy breaking before the Tarzan and it probably lifted the rears a bit. But that was with 550/400.
