[Matthew Bentley Racing Ltd]

Hi All,

 

After a few comments and interest on another thread I am going to organise a trackday with car hire and tuition for anyone looking either for some tuition or those who would like to go on circuit but don't want to take their VX.

 

There are two cars too choose from, a BMW Compact or MG ZR race car.

 

The BMW is a great car for training, very balanced and obviously rear wheel drive for those who asked for it. Or the ZR race car is the car that won its class and fastest lap a few weekends ago with me and BillSC driving. Both come track ready with semi-slick tyres and setup for circuit use.

 

The day will be on an open pitlane trackday and split between a group of 1 to 5 people. Included is:

 

- Hire of the vehicle on a full arrive and drive basis

- No other costs, fuel etc all paid for

- Tuition by myself, or if requested an Ards Instructor

- Trackday fees 

 

 

Prices will be £275 each for a 4 person group in the BMW or £300 each in the ZR. There is an insurance excess of £1000.

 

Potential days in the calender are:

 

Snetterton 300 - Monday 2nd November

Bedford Autodrome - Monday 10th November

Snetterton 300 - Monday 10th November

Snetterton 300 - Saturday 15th November

Bedford Autodrome - Monday 17th November

Bedford Autodrome GT - Saturday 22nd November

Snetterton 300 - Sunday 30th November

Bedford Autodrome - Monday 1st December

Snetterton 300 - Saturday 6th December

The November dates would be much easier for me and it goes without saying I'd rather not go to the tenth circle of hell that is Snetterton But I will if I really have to.

I am one who would have jumped at the chance at any other time. However as a 3wk old parent I cannot afford to right now. However if you continue this I will definitely be booking with you. For me it would have to be the ZR, I have had a few of these and would like to see what can be done to turn them into a race car.

Haven't even started drinking yet, how did I miss that!!

I'd be very interested for a Snett date at some point.

 

Very happy with sharing for a days tuition at that kind of price Matt. My only problem is it'd have to be a weekend as no free holiday till next September
