I know Lauren, she was in the year below me. I vaguely knew her older brother Simon as well. It is indeed a small world!

I don't live in the area any more; I moved away when I started uni and never really moved back. But you could quite often find me propping up the bar in The Ridgeway off High Cross, or when I was in school we would go for a cheeky pint in the Three Blackbirds. In town I used to be in the Murrenger usually.

Did you ever go to any of Laurens party's when you were younger??

Her folks had this mansion, and when they'd go away Lauren would have party's in the barn. It was called the "Barn" but it had a swimming pool, suana, jacuzzi, pool table, a full size snooker table, jukebox tons of stuff, not to mention a fully loaded spirits bar. The place was huge.

She invited a load of Rougemont boys the one time, and one tool got hammered and started acting up. Somehow he managed to fall over and impale himself on a golf club. It all happenned so fast, but he fell on it, snapped the head off, and ended up puncturing his lung. It was hilarious! Not for him obviously! Much police and ambulances later, we had one of the best party's I can ever remember!

Hope it wasn't you, as this thread will take a somewhat sinister turn, lol

Hah, brilliant! I know that tool. Tim Beynon was his name. A year earlier, he drank an entire bottle of vodka on a school trip and had to get his stomach pumped.

Wow, this is somewhat freaky.

Ha ha, that is pretty nuts!!!!!

The guy was a tosser though!!!

I wanted to see the wound, so I convinced him that he should let the air get to it.... The moment he let go his diaphragm couldn't pull a vacuum to let him breathe.... Should of heard the noise he made, it was scary!!

I don't know how Lauren got away with that!!
