Just been doing some maths and not sure I will be able to make this one now.

The new engine will be in first week of July, but then I'm away for am week in Croatia, which leaves me 11 days to run in 1000 miles, and my commute is 5 metres down the stairs!

Am absolutely gutted and am still considering if this is even vaguely viable but common sense is starting to kick in. Arse biscuits.

You don't want to have a fault with your new build in Europe. It's bad enough having one on your own drive. Get Lauren to drive it to work for you maybe? She can keep it for insurance purposes while you thrash her NA around Spa. ;)

Good idea !

How far are you from Spa Martin ? 400 miles ? If you get the first 600 miles run in, its unlikely to break between 600 and 1000 miles ? So you run in the last 400 on the drive over to Belgium  :D

Like I've already told you, it'll take you two days to run it in with a little effort so stop bitching and just do it! Non participation is not an option.

Am considering my options, but whatever happens will most likely still be coming to Spa, if even just to run the thing in and have a few shandies.

Once its done and I know my level of confidence in the conversion, that will define whether I go for it and do some big miles fast or whether I get all sensible.

What concerns me is the people who've done this conversion, are not filling mw with comfort!

There was No issues with my conversion Martin but I'm running the 2.2 crank so don't have any trigger wheels issues The Dutch software is bullet proof but or your mechanical bits are as they should be, You do have to put the time in with the software but results can be great It actually takes longer to work your way round the software, once you have done this it will take a good day to fuel learn and set ignition up to get 95% tuned

I'm hoping that with vocky's expertise doing the engine and me and help can get the software set up all will be well  asap.

My main aim is reliability (and maybe some more power over the 250bhp  I had!).

Fingers crossed.
