Will the Evora be up and running for Spa Cocopops? (really looking forward to a pax in one of those if possible)

Yup thumbsup A new Engine wiring loom is being fitted today/tomorrow. It was on back order, hence not making it on Monday (I pax'd and drove JGs car instead, having driven my Audi over!).

I've upgraded from the double room 70euros , to the apartment suite at Villa Louise, if people still looking, the room is now available , plus three others.

It will mean I have a full kitchen and a seperate entrance to the bbq / patio area , which Fabienne is extending at the moment. Depending on the weather for bbq or not.

Might just charter a big Antonov or Galaxy for this journey, rather than rely on fcuking French to sort out either the striking w4nkers or the suicidal migrants that seem to be fcuking up the Channel crossings, one way or another.

I am out :(

Sciatica is now so bad I can't even sit down. No way I'm driving the VX. Utterly f*cking gutted as I've been looking forward to this trip (and French Frolic which I'm also having to cancel) for so long. It's been the only thing keeping me going after the crash / knee op / recovery / car rebuild.

So, any takers?

I'm having to drop out as well...problems with my ECU, which will not be fixed before I travel. However, will be at Spa on that day (as it forms part of my larger holiday) so if some kind person would offer me a passanger ride or two I would be very greatful, plus supplying loads of beer...

Cheers

Dave

whats the problem kipper?

Hi Steve,

Possibly a problem with damage to the ECU on a high power Dyno run while at Courteny's. Fuel pipe blew off within the pump assembly while the engine was under high power (I fitted the uprated pump, a 255).

Now the K16 fuel pump relay will not trigger correctly. John and Mark did not have enough time to try to trouble shoot the problem, so I had to trail it back again from Norfolk!

have they checked , S94 Impact switch - Fuel cut off

there is no surge feed I can see that would take out the ecu , X31 pin 62 . more likely loose connector on X2

Hi Steve,

I don't know whether they checked the fuel cut off switch...I'll have a look myself later.

The problem seems that  pin 62 needs to earth to activate relay K16. Currently there is +12v at that pin.

If relay (K16) contactor pin 4 is earthed the fuel pump kicks in OK, but the ECU throws up an error code.
