Just got in. No traffic at the tunnel at all. Straight thru onto the he train and the train was half empty too. The euro terminal in France looked like a ghost town! Took the A2 home as the signs said M20 closed at J8. So give the VX the once over over the weekend and back off to France on Tuesday for 3 weeks.

Not quite as bad as Dijon but very close The group who stopped here at Bruges on the way back have realised that we have one lightweight amongst us A couple of Belgium beers in the afternoon means sleeping all evening. Should we name & shame?

Dijon was frequent heavy showers this was constant drizzle/rain.

Saving grace was the day not ending until 6pm which meant some dry running at the death.

The galling part was that Stavelot (2 miles away) was dry all afternoon!

Hello sir how the devil are you. Doubt I'll post any tbh, only bothered going out three times twice tip toeing round on slicks and the last was constantly held up. Not had the chance to look through them yet so might post if there's anything remotely entertaining.

In that case I'll endeavour to find something worth putting up :) I'm stupid busy at the moment, in fact Spa was the first time I'd driven the thing in anger since a trip to that Norfolk track the end of last September :o so felt proper rusty. With any luck Zandvoort should be better thumbsup

A bad one can definitely knock the confidence, just need to persevere. Also definitely helps to be with a group..... Hmm I'm now thinking a Donington day, and night in the near future :)

That's one of the jobs for this weekend Chris, the next will be to buy a new one as the rod would have sheared off doing it :beat:

Nothing major really Chris, lost brakes which was my own fault for not changing fluid, couple of tensioners went and the v belt shredded. A lot of race teams were there on that day and being new to it all they didn't really stick to anything said in the briefing, possibly naive of me to think they would but it put a bit of a downer on the day for me.

You can't blame the TDO for getting money where they can and I don't mind sharing a track with the race teams as long as we all play by the same rules. Problem is the race boys generally have a different mindset and do what they want.

I've got one of these arriving on Monday. The Turbosmart stuff is so much better quality than the normal items (I have a turbo smart resirc valve). I'm hoping it may improve power delivery slightly

By that time it's pretty irrelevant how nice it was  oh and about 3......apparently :drink: :beat: Interesting that actuator, I was playing with the idea of the Forge one but have heard some reports of them leaking. I would have tried this one but typically they're out of stock  The description is a little unclear, can you use the old updated actuator bracket?

They have just come in. Courtenays got stock in on Friday but haven't updated the website.

I read it as using the same bracket as their own uprated actuator which I already have.

Not sure about the spring it comes with though. Is 10psi appropriate for us or is that standard?

Not sure about spring rate, I'll be calling them on Monday about it as mine was a real pig to drive at spa in the wet, boost modulation was almost impossible.
