I'm normally in Stavelot, its about 2 minutes away on the original circuit / paddock entrance

Is there anything in Stavelot (or Malmedy if you've been there) restaurants and bar wise, Steve? La Source looks nice but I don't want to be stuck having to eat and drink there as there's not any other options, especially if Jo comes with me. Failing that, I guess it'll have to be Spa proper and the Radisson again.

I've just booked Sunday in Stavelot - B&B Bel Natura - Couette et Café , which is my other cheap favourite.

You must have been the other person browsing that place. I just booked Sunday and Monday night there. Was tempted by the Romantik but didn't want Jo getting any ideas. :o

According to Trip Advisor, there's two friteries (though according to reviews you apparently have to be able to speak French at one of them . Shocking! ) in Stavelot. Should probably alert MartinS to the fact there's a couple of pizza places there too.

Still hoping that a Zandvoort date can be arranged for the Friday/Saturday before or Weds/Thurs after. Need to be looking towards you regulars for Hotel recommendations. LOT rate at La Source looks ok but hotel only looks to be available from Sunday due to the prior event

La Source is quality. There was a pool table, posh beers, underground parking next to Mclarens, Ferraris, Porches etc, and last year there was even a BAC Mono parked in the foyer to have a nose around. Plus it's right next to the track.

My car does not do ramps. In fact it barely does kerbs. Will I struggle with this underground car park ?

Hmmm maybe, but it is full of low sports cars! Anyway if it won't work there is an outside car park too.

Moot point! La Source is full already for 26/07 -> 28/07 :-(

For me a hotel at the circuit is a luxury, I'm not good at mornings. Can always get a taxi into town to meet up with you guys in the evenings👍

I've been a bit slow on this one it appears. B&B Bel Natura has a double on the Monday night. Not sure about availability at La Source but have emailed them. I think Lnda would prefer to be Stavelot as she wouldn't want to spend the day on the track. Could get somewhere else for Sunday but then that would mean checking out on the Monday...hmmm.

Any other good suggestions for Stavelot?

OK - booked the studio at Villa Louise. Only 8 mins walk from Bel Natura so we can hook up with you lot at some point. In fact we've so much space and a kitchen you can all come round for a BBQ!

I have not booked the monday night yet, which is probably the spare double. I might join you monday night at the villa , just because the owner Fabienne is so nice, plus I have to book up another two trips there for next year.

Looked at Bruges for Saturday, couldn't really find anything that leapt out and said come to Bruges. Seloc also recommend Ghent.

Both are lovely. I prefer Ghent though, it's a little easier to deal with, car wise.
