Hotels - down to you to find one. Quite a few staying in Stavelot (look on Hotels.com or Booking.com) others staying in Hotel La Source. I just cancelled a room there so there is one available.

Ghent is really nice 

good beers ..of course and some good places to eat 

I had all you can eat ribs in one place that were fantastic 

good bar on the river on a bit of a corner and quite a cool jaz bar too.

 

I like Ghent

We've booked! Will be booking accommodation in next few weeks and I'll update once booked. We'll be coming over for the weekend and popping along to Spa with my dad as a surprise, he's always wanted to go to Spa so paxing with me will be an immense surprise

its worth a drive from there on the N62 , as this is the old circuit , and takes you in to Stavelot, before turning back (Total garage here) on the N640 which is the back way into the circuit

Continuing the romantic nature of the trip, someone mentioned Ghent was nice and as the track day is a Monday, how about leaving Sat and staying over in Ghent on the way down?

 

Out Sat 25th Eurotunnel about 10ish

Ghent Sat night, all you can eat ribs & beer

Stavelot Sun night (in a dungeon in my case apparently)

Track Mon

Stavelot Mon night

Return Tue 28th

 

Thoughts, and any ideas for hotel in Ghent we can all stay in?

Book the hotel soon as rooms are going quick due the Spa 24hrs taking place on the 25th & 26th

I've cancelled our Villa Louise booking as so many of you have gone to the Romantik and there was one room left....which I now have. Bit more expensive than the apartment at Villa Louise but though it was worth it for a Candlelit dinner with the wife and you lot  

 

So a room spare at Villa Louise now.
