The ecu isn't really the bother as I know the guys have built many 600 hp + stuff on this set up, I've just made the decision to go all out and fancy a bit of traction control mainly

Got the ecu and loom, they are hard at it trying to make a pedal as we didn't want to pay the 300 we were asked!

Why not go DBW Daz? Lot easier to install and you can buy a box to convert if your new ecu requires it? This is what was done on Nev standalone conversion by chris at efi spares who I use on my standalone conversions. There are plenty of options to make a pedal even working the oem pedal but can take a lot of time to get right and usually not the greatest looking thing. However depending on tb used you need to get the ratio of travel right. You can end up with tvr pedal travel 300 is a chunk but if your paying by the hour to retro fit something it could get more. Not an issue if fixed in the price so far ;) Now get some pics and graphs up ;) DG

Is the pedal geared Daz or was the ratio of the tb ok with travel. When doing one using oem pedal gave noted more travel than I liked and bit too much travel required. Main reason I got Dave to make the geared item I use the oem tfsi pedal on the audi tfsi conversion which worked well. I never got round to playing with both pedals off the car to see if I could merge the 2 to retain oem pedal position and travel Looking forward to seeing end result DG

its at ade tuning in Blackburn, they wont be touching it till after weekend, they have done an elise with a similar but "not as nice!!" setup see 600hp but he seemed concerned that the turbo might be a little on the big side for a track car,i want the thing to run and run so safety is the first concern.

we will see on the 8th ithink, what she will do................
