Excellent results Darron. :o

Fingers crossed on the reliability side of things, once it's back out on track proper. thumbsup

Its a common upgrade on vag platform to reduce engine / gearbox movement under load but also if this conversion has gone with 2 top mounts and one bottom it would need either suitable upgraded ones and or solid to not have excessive movement. The vx220 gets a lot more traction than the donor fwd vag cars I used the vibratech uprated road spec tops and insert for lower one but after reviewing and discussing 4th mount was over kill DG

happy with that, need to fine tune a few bits and add a adj boost controller as the valve on the car doesn't like something about the setup and stopped us progressing, the positives are that everything else seems fine and it runs nice and cool and as it hit the 480hp on its first run its obviously fit for massive power.

back to thr dyno in a couple of weeks

going to go for a dat 80s ecu that should solve a small problem that stopped us on the dyno day and will give us traction control, launch control, in car switchable maps and also anti lag  and flat shift if we need them

just need to decide wether to go cable throttle or spend more on the ecu side to cope with the fbw one,i am favouring the ecu route

Nice and quiet :) Does that ECU offer gear dependant boost control, probably the single most important thing IMO.

I think the issue you might have is the well known pressure cap in ME7.x at 2560mBar absolute pressure, this has in the past prevented us from installing a higher reading MAP sensor than the stock 2.5bar sensor.

The stock resolution is at 0.01bar or 10mBar, so the "5120" patch changes the axis scales on all pressures by -50% we end up with a resolution of 0.02bar or 20mBar. So you get full ECU control of pressure upto 5bar

tbh any vw+audi tuner should know this stuff
