AnywAy is zandvoort a good trip then  

 

It's all we dutchies have, but feedback so far has been quite ok.

 

Just imagine stepping out the hotel, cross the road and at you're on the track.

Or step out and take a left, cross the boulevard and you're on the beach.

 

Since it's your first time here, please build up slowly. Take special care of the Gerlach corner and scheivlak corner.

The scheivlak corner has it's own YouTube channel. And it's not good

I'll be in Norwich in August so might see if I can make this. The track day, not the 2015 crash compilation….!!!!!

generally :

 

wed  overnight ferry harwich -> hook (have you booked this???)

thu    travel to zandy, bit of a look around the town during the day as we will get there early

fri      trackday, traditional beers on the beach afterwards, spruce up then out for food

sat    day trip to amsterdam has been mentioned, arrangements still to be discussed

sun   ferry back to blighty

Not recently. In dec they changed the departure time from 23:15 to 23:00. Is that what you mean ?

Just booked some time on a 4-post lift on Saturday to remove and modify my exhaust for the 437th time in a quest to avoid any black flag issues at Zandzort (as Kieran might call it ). Should probably have a look at the slightly odd ride heights on this new suspension too, before departure.

Matt, the latest HT stuffing I obtained from Tullets last summer did the trick on mine. Apparently it was different from the previous years. Trick is to ensure it is reasonably even in the silencer, particularly within the end which comes off. Before selling the car it had lasted 12 months ok and at 2 recent Snetterton days static was 89 & 91 both at circa 4700rpm ( I always point out the red line on the counter to them when they ask for more). Never had any issues with drive by and I don't think you will get any issues with black flags at Zandvort
