Mike and his mate went down to the Frolic aswellHopefully the guy in the black S2 Exige who brushed the barrier when he came upon the mullered Speedster will make it too.
Yes, spoke to Mike , the front is looking unwell.

Good. Glad he got down there okay. It was mission enough without a clam that might want to go walkies at any moment.

As an all round package its the best euro trip we have done. Close to Amsterdam, on a beach, hotel right across the road and we got the weather. The ferry makes for a more pleasant journey than the usual destinations from our neck of the woods. The track was great and i really need to go again to get to grips with it properly. The sighting laps in the wet made it all look a bit daunting but as it dried it wasn't so bad but bad enough for me to not fully commit around some corners.
Clear lap
VX's going out together up to my spin. We should of all gone out together again but it felt like we were asking for trouble.
Thanks to everyone for making it a great weekend and its always nice when Emma enjoys it as much as me!

I am so pleased you all enjoyed the trip. The circuit is amazing and the company spot on. I really do wish I could have made this one.

Closest I've ever been to binning my car. Put a rear wheel on the wet curb and it instantly swapped ends at speed.
Brilliant save George.

What a great trip. Had exhaust problems leading up to going and it blew again 30 minutes into the journey, decided to go anyway. Bumped into George, Chris and Chill en route and was the first time I'd smiled in days!
The boys said they would get me on track and they did. Amazing help from Chill, Joe, Lee and others with the car and trying to get the original exhaust fixed (thanks Joe) then Stephan (Smilee) driving me for over an hour out to pick up an exhaust lent to me by Frank (exmanta), amazing people.
With me, Joe, Stephan and Chill on it, the car was back and ready to go at 10.30 just after it got dark and minutes before it rained really heavily.
Then had a great time on track, and the usual fun time with all on our post trackday beach drink and that evening, with a added bonus day out in Amsterdam with all. A fun crowd to hang out with.
What a brilliant bunch you all are, its the reason I still have this car and can see me owning it a lot longer yet.

Great time from beginning to end. Just shows not to believe in weather forecasts. Car was good but seemed to be a bit down on power so something to look into there. 'Apres' track drinks on the beach had the usual banter and a silly photo session organised by you know who! Don't know how I wasn't hit by one of the maniac cyclists in Amsterdam especially when my attention was else where, if you get my drift. We managed to get on an earlier chunnel which was handy after having a leisurely drive back over the dykes. Looking forward to next year now!

The dutch had a weather site that was literally accurate to within 5 minutes of everything that happened a day in advance. We need to use that one next time.

Superb break once again. Any tracking VXers should really consider saving up for this one next year.
To bring a smile back to Techies face speaks volumes about what a great little circuit this is!
Also amazing how everyone rallies round when there are breakdowns or incidents to get the problem sorted.
George: you are nuts! Car nearly swaps ends and you virtually wheelspin it rejoining the track as you don't want to lose time to DaveE most normal people would come back in to calm down.
Chris: all the cars were getting very hot with the humidity. Mine was really wheezing getting up the hill in the afternoon, but I am only running the standard turbo intercooler. An upgrade to consider for next year! Chill said he saw the highest ever intake temps.

I don't think so Chris, Nigel was following me down the pit straight, both WOT and I wasn't pulling away from him. He's 197bhp, I'm supposed to be 250bhp!!

Time the National went International and based itself there. Just a perfect setup regarding the circuit layout, the hotel size/location, the bar(s) location, petrol stations, etc. Closer than Anglesey for me (as long as I took the ferry again) and they speak better English there than Anglesey (or Norfolk for that matter ).
Only thing missing was a fully equipped Nelly van for running repairs.

Before Tim starts demanding it here's my second run, not the fastest of the day but the most fun and interesting.
Edit, try again and appologies for the strange edit at the end, I'm still learning to use the gopro studio.
