So glad  joined this forum, im a newbie currently have a MR2 turbo, looking for a decent catc catd VX, emailed this guy according to him front and rear clam replaced....he didnt have pics of the car before the accident I wonder why :0)

Went to see this one http://www.ebay.co.u...=item259c073a86 turbo 4250, I could have lived with badly repaired fibre glass, on closer inspection seems the car had every singe panel damaged and also a tappy engine.

Wheres the best place to look out for a cat c/d car that requires repair, whats the going rate.

Thanks Again

Best place is probably on here or ebay Going rate God knows depends on damage best find something get a price and post the details to get an opinion on price and repair cost And that last one you looked at (silver) isn't a 2.0 turbo looks like an na and dvla site says 2.2 engine Note na wheels / lights / no turbo boot spoiler might be worth a cheeky low offer 2.5k? Nothing wrong with an na. Some prefer the driving compared to a turbo but be aware of what you are looking at or take someone who does

If its a repaired catc / catd vx your after, Turboluca on here is a genuine guy to buy from. As for damaged ones, as Chris has mentioned on here, ebay or even copart.

I was going to email him and play the game, but decided against it. I'd just be interested in knowing what he would present if you asked him for details of the accident/damage.

Hugely unfair, I know a lot of people do it, but I seriously doubt the guy would sell the car to a family member without making them aware of the details. That car should have been cat B.

Yea, but now it's well known. It's the car that fought a tree and lived to tell the tale.
