That's crying out for some properly lit photos, low angles and an industrial background now.... get to it :)

I seem to have some issues since it was put back together: 1) speedo isn't working 2) mile counter isn't working 3) engine occasionally dies when clutch is down / idling 4) coolant level light is on (coolant now topped up bit still on) 5) (!) light is on 6) the full decat Larini is LOUD. Like, skull crushing levels of volume. I actually like it at the moment but not sure how I'll fare after 3000 miles across Europe this summer :D Some searches have indicated that the coolant light could be a sensor or due to aftermarket header tank. Also searched that the (!) light could be brake fluid or pads? I'm too much of a cripple I take wheels off at the moment. Any thoughts good people?

check the cables/connection on the ABS sensor on rear left wheel.... one of the NPC had symptoms 1-3 and it turned out to be a broken ABS wire on that wheel. good luck

If in doubt check the others too but basically as its a digital speedo driven from a wheel sensor, to stop a driver disconnecting the sensor to drive about without adding mileage to the car the ECU kicks in throws up some errors and cuts the engine out on idle...all to stop people illegally clocking their cars ;)

Oh and lush colour!

Drove the car over to Neils dads garage today so we can be a little more comfortable when working on it. Can confirm it only cuts out while still rolling with clutch in, no need to turn off ignition, starts straight away on the button. All the rest as he stated above.

As far as the way the car feels, it's good, feels straight and solid. So looks like a few electrical issues to solve and some cosmetic stuff, oh and wiper mechanism seems to be detached from the wiper arm spindle, drives with no wiper on but not once you fit wiper arm.

It is loud though, sounds more like a pulse jet than a car on over run.

Oh and I did drive with a paper bag on my head so no one knew it was me :P
