Thanks for making your 17th post in 4 years such an insightful one. It actually looks more like an Aviva bus. There's more green to the colour in the flesh

That pic of the cores was after a soak and wash. Just sent it to show how dirty they were, they are spotless now.

The bung is a potential WMI position Chris. May or may not be used, apparently gains are good from pre charger injection but I would like to test rather than take someones word for it.

We had a good 6.5hrs working on the car today.

Refitted the cleaned intake manifold. now with two WMI fitments and also popped the supercharger now with one WMI fitment back on (thanks again to Mr Crabash who worked wonders with the laminovas and the fitments).

After a little panic when the terminal came off the battery (and a plug we can't find another end for  ), it started again :)

This is what a cold SC engine with full decat Larini system sounds like. It shoots big flame when it's warm :D

Also took most of the front clam bolts out, nice and easy as it's only just gone on.

Went at some corrosion on the sub frame with wire brush / rust remover / wire brush ready for painting.

Next week we will plum in the WMI tank and wire in the pump. We've been debating the best location for these. It's a tall, narrow tank. There is no room for it in the engine bay and I don't want it in the boot for space and weight distribution reasons so we think we have a nice spot for it on the parcel shelf. This will allow us simple access and a short route to the manifold and SC injection points.

Then it's off with the front clam, fix the leaking radiator, install brake cooling from the fog light apertures and generally tidy things up and rustproof as much as possible as we go.

Really hoping it will be ready for Angelsey.

What are you going to do about mapping ?? I thought you might need 2 maps one with WI and or without Which leads to my next question what are you going to do if WI runs out

We will map it with and without. Defo doing two maps for both scenarios. Won't need to run the WMI in normal road driving.

If water runs out failsafe conditions will activate.

No need to go as far as direct port inj for this level of boost and power, we are not trying to extract power, we want the cooling effect on the charge.

Bit more progress from last week.
