This was the first log, without WI. A few foot down runs to see what the intake temps were doing. As you can see they were well into the 60s on a very cool day on a normal duel carriageway.

Now with the WI switched on. As you can see they never get above 50 and when giving it some the WI kicks in and brings it down to around 30 deg. The harder I accelerated the cooler the temps.

LOOOOADS to do mapping it properly and tweaking the WI flow but great start straight out the box.

Should also mention that all the cleaning of the laminovas by Crabash seems to have improved things generally.

Looking good Are you going to do some logging on track with and without so you get a similar pattern of throttle etc ?? But does looks like it's doing the job 👍

They are just for you Chris

Yeah gonna do some proper logging at Hethel tomorrow. This was literally the first thing we did when we turned it on just to see if it all worked properly.

Do you have a over ride button on you steering wheel to activate it or have you been able to get it to trigger from the TMap sensor ??

The way it works is at a set point in the fuel injector duty, i.e. 42% it will activate. And is then tied to the injector pulse, so it is matched to the fuel being injected by the ecu. Tmap can be used instead or as well as, but not a good way to do it on a SC engine. Lots to do still to get the best from it. That was a very basic test. What I noticed is the temps actually go lower the longer you drive hard. We could watch the effects real time. There is prob more water than required at the min, no point chucking more than we need in. And to Neil... You go steady with that button, I still need to check lots of stuff out.

Aye aye cap'n

Chill, do you have the data to enter onto Dutch software for a power run? I.e. tyre diameter etc? Running RSRs 225/45/17.

Tire diameter changes significantly with pressures and wear My car weighs bang on 1000 kg with full tank and fuel with me in car ( I weigh 100kg )

Lol Have you got a tape measure ? Mark the floor when tire valve is pointing down do a full rotation and mark the floor again when valve is pointing down after the rotation And measure it I run 235 rears with more tread 1970 rings a bell but can't remember pressures and how worm tires were

Was being uber lazy. Also forgot I bought 235 section RSRs this time.

Measured and you were right - 1970mm :)

Weight... gonna go for 970kg as I have a light weight front clam and lightweight zorst and no charge rad.

Can't remember costs, Neil will have counted thenpennies though, he's tight as... Wiring not that hard. Finding the best routing for the wires took the most time and I was pretty OCD about it being tidy. Has it's own controller and I would not go for cheap systems on a SC due to them all using boost activation, they will be more or less on or off on SC. Aquamist offers the best system in my veiw and it controls by injection pulse capture.

Put another way when Neil asked me to help I basicly said I didn't want anything to do with the other systems available. Had to be aquamist for me to put my name to it.
