When the Corsa collided with me his wheel clipped mine and fcuked the TD. This was a front wheel though so won’t have affected anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So the plan with John is: Get the heater fitted. Buy Helix 6 Paddle and fit to existing clutch housing Fit the Piper manifold I’ve had for months. Put decent brake fluid in. Two rear tyres. Drive it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

John has been an utter legend and has fitted the Piper manifold (after a bit of butchering :) ) and fitted the Helix 6 paddle and put it back together. I’m going across Saturday to help to hopefully get it finished. I’m blessed that John offers to help get my car back on the road or it would still be sat outside my house on axel stands. I’m actually excited to drive it again. I owe him a lot (of beer) and am also donating one of my knackered engines and standard manifold to him as the mad professor has some ideas to keep his hands busy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well I just finished reading all of this Neil and have to admire you for sticking with it. Spec of the car now looks promising and you deserve a bit of luck with no more stupid dodgy earths and relays etc. Hope this weekend goes well and you end it with a great drive back home. Be good when we can all get together and put faces to names! You can give us some tips on the track, too, by the sound of things!

John discovered the charge cooler pump wasn’t working. Probs hasn’t worked for a long time. This is why

Posted Image

He fixed it and filled up charge cooler but all coolant disappeared, but not externally. Turns out the o rings on the laminovas have dried out and perished so the coolant ended up in the intake manifold. So on Saturday it’s SC off, replace o rings, new relay and probs do pulley at same time.

I have what looks to be a 2.9” pulley from Lee so might fit that. However I need to know if I need an adaptor. It looks like this

Can someone confirm please?

Take a measurement of the sc shaft and the pulley if it's a tight fit no adapter required If there's a difference a adapter is required

The fact it's has bolt holes on it I would guess it needs a adapter
