This car has been looking for a new home for a while ..

  ..thats what would worry me....
Yeah, it was a bit heavy at £9k for this time of the year for an NA. £2k knocked off - trade, non-HPI. Sounds good, no?

..who did the colour change...and why???..non of the parts fit as stated before....ex silver, black wheels and black surround...I would want to know the background to the "project" before getting involved....

Indeed very good question there maybe a sinister reason! Or it could be the owner at time saw another green VR220 and wanted to copy it or copy lambo styling and sold wheels and purchased black and did the mods for the looks. Obviously its not a standard car/mint but that doesnt concern me if the engine and car is mechanically sound and the mods of appearance were done for non sinister reasons

Best advice.... Go take a looksy with a forum member off here. Most will accept a Harrop as payment, or a Garrett if they are that way inclined. ;)

Oh wait your that neck of the woods.... no wonder why it became a turbo haha!

Good idea, Yeah, these are always quite hit and miss as you'll usually only ever hear about the people who went wrong for them for x reason. Out of all the cars they've sold there doesn't seem to be lots of bad reviews floating out there. So I am prepared to look at the car with eyes open looking for the potential faults with the car itself.

Thanks Ormes

Learning lots...so the air bags usually don't play ball and the slightest knock will damage GRP shell but ive seen a few smashes and the crash boxes seem to do the job.....

I am potentially excited to be joining the owners group!
