I know VXR prices are strong, but this seems optimistic.. Especially, as the photos don't seem to indicate its condition is great (which you'd expect for that).. How much does an EVO mag feature add? https://www.pistonhe...---2004/8664304

That's ridiculous. Love that he thinks #03 is the oldest one, try going to the heritage centre and you will see #00
But as an owner promising lol. Especially as mine only has 30K.
Did Jon sell the VXR with sub 10K on it?
Regarding the earlier comments your age doesn't necessarily reflect your first car, im in my 30's (just) and my first car was from 1966 and quite a lot older than me.

Not sure where the VXR prices will go over the next years, but I struggle to believe that this car at this price is much of investment.

Fuel line has come loose from the header tank bracket on that one.

Was about to say that. Both lines in fact. I had the same issue a few years back and the connectors then separated. I was lucky the car didn't go up in flames.Fuel line has come loose from the header tank bracket on that one.

only a 2.2 i think realistically about £5,000. Seems only the best examples are worth decent money

I think, it's parts 6 and 7 here. https://www.speedste...ings/index.html Although a simple zip tie will hold them safe in the interim. I noticed Bobby's were loose at Brunters one year and cable tied them safe until he could fix them.Where could I get a part number for that clip holding the fuel line to the bulk head? Just noticed my central clip has snapped off. Cheers in advance. M Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

That's brilliant. I was also thinking about cable tie as interim fix. I would say they start from a lot less than £11,500. Nearer £8000.
You can even get cheaper still if you get a proper dog of a car with lots of problems which you spend ages fixing. Good examples naturally command higher prices.
