What do you base that on?5k is about right being 139k ! It's not much margin in that , but fair.

Depends what the trade is. If you are PXing you should get more than 5k, an outright buy still more than 5k assuming HPI clear. Bearing in mind you would struggle to get a box of bits from copart for any less than about 8k I would say you are having your pants pulled down.

Given the general vibe of this thread, I am confused then by the general trade price that is being offered on my VXT. High mileage I know (139000) average condition and they offered £5k.
Seems very low assuming it's a non cat car?
Would of thought at least 8k! Take it else where or sell privately, in fact I'll give you 5.5k for it!

Wow, for £5k I'd be tempted to take it myself! WBAC would probably be higher than that.

I will take it off you for £6000 assuming it's all in working order. I got we buy any car to value mine: £4445.00 for a silver 2.2 standard with all the servicing and 100,000 miles on the clock.

Mileage shouldn't matter when a car is more than 10 years old anyway. I bet there are some 30K mile cars in worse condition than some 100K+ cars. The great thing about cars is you can replace worn out parts.

Absolutely.
Finding a real top end VX220 is no easy task. I was almost 2 years to get my blue one. VXTs are a little easier to come by but still they are probably on a par with S2 Exiges in terms of rarity now.
