Door cards is where it starts, :tt:once you get the bug then comes the modding and the expensive bit. Me and Rudy went out for a good blast down to Swanage today and this is why I love these plastic toys.

Thanks if you could that would be great! I just whipped a door card off in less than 3 mins, what's all the fuss about? Haha
OllyJ took the front clam off quicker

Thanks I will do this evening! Does anyone know how to get the carbon fibre door mirror covers off? The lacquers peeled off and I want to send them away to my cousin for renewing along with my door carsJust post what you're looking for, and you should get some decent advice on where to get it, and best used or new.Spent last night trying to google for some parts I want but not much luck =/

So wing mirror covers have some sort of sticky tape so will use my heat gun to soften it up to help.
1st task was to get rid of a rattle in door, sounded like loose/free screw to mine and Renny's ears...
As I said above was quite a quick and painless process getting door cards and trim off.
The silver bits are very tacky to touch and just tatty so being sent away for a respray.
I noticed the seal on the pax door was compromised so I will replace this and seal back up, so it looks tidier and also sealed!
This allen bolt/screw head is getting rounded off and I was lucky to free it with the right tools! Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?
Also spotted something failed to see when looking around pre-purchase, some damage to wing mirror mount. Again where can I get one of these as this will bug me.
Finally my friends joked the car would be a bit of a pussy magnet, I didn't believe them until....

I see you've already been "spotted" on your way home!
that takes the p*ss... it was 4 years until I was first spotted (properly)

I was spotted by a PistonHeader on the Pistonheads "Yorkshire Spotted" thread on my first drive in my VX... not been spotted on here yet either

Cats are a fcuking menace with the VX. They seem to like curling up on the boot lid grills soaking up the heat of the engine and using the soft top as a hammock whilst leaving there hard to remove hairs everywhere. 😼😠Finally my friends joked the car would be a bit of a pussy magnet, I didn't believe them until....

Haha I would of shooed her on but it is our own cat and she isn't that bad...we just need to teach her to close the front door behind her as she has no problem opening it!
