Hi to everyone, i'm steve from devon, been lurking for a while but have now got a garage so looking for a new car.

 

Been in contact with j4ey d on here about his ITB car, and i'm pretty keen, as

Its got a good spec and being a forum car i hope recommended by yourselves.

 

But having not driven any vx, and reading lots of information available about ITB's or supercharging or just buying a turbo.

I'm in doubt as to wether this is the way i want the car to drive (high revving/low torque).

 

I have owned a S2000 and integra type r which while quick and nice, not really my thing long term. BIt whizz bang all over for me

Several imprezas which i modified to good success in sprinting.

The normal run of XR2/GTE/GSI/GTI/G60 etc etc

 

I Know i'd love the BARK from the ITB'S as i had twin 40 solex on my old fiat

 

Just like to know peoples opinions on the itbs?

 

ps i do like to tinker with my cars so i'm also wondering if i should buy a standard car and mod myself?

Thanks to luca , I was able to drive a itb car and a turbo back to back. The itb car (kenbo's old car) was really nice and a credit to Kenny. But the shove of the turbo and grin factor is what I was after! Quite a few new car jobs to do. Should be on the road in April :-) Big thumbs up to Luca for his help and advice.
