Bloody well disguised too. Well, until you engage reverse and the bleeping starts.

Mounted in the centre of the rear reflectors, either side of the exhaust grilles.

Somehow I missed this thread until today. Despite the fact it's a lotus, it's a very nice looking car ;-) The fact it has the right engine too makes is a very special car. :jealous: Oh and you're making the right decision to stay NA.

Yes I'm dead jealous of the deafening scream of the reversing sensors that pick up anything within a mile to the rear of the car :P

well... no real work been done to the shed, other than take those hideous honda stickers of the car!!

but i found out my odd noise was my wheel bearing and this was confirmed when wobbling the wheel at 12 and 6 oclock (although im sure it was still doing it all the rest of the time aswell  )

so me being me decided i could do it on my own if i bought a couple of tools! the wheel bearings on the shed are press fitted, so i went and bought a cheap press and followed the guide thanks to wonderful seloc :)

bish bash bosh!

so fitted that, but whilst i was there i might aswell change the front adjustable 7/8ths arb for a 1" one (every little helps right?!)

old

luckily i kept the arb mounts from the vx as this saved me £70 odd! as it doesnt use oem s1 mounts. i also swapped the bolts for screw type 13mm head bolts and setted the bar to stiffest setting, which took a little persuading!

annoyingly i have basically killed a set of front 888s in 1000miles due to a crap geo and have worn the tyres out on the outside! so shows how crap the geo is. will hopefully get this sorted when matt b replies :poke:

i have also decided that the 200 odd horsies is enough for me at the moment and have put the intake manifold and headwork on hold until the winter and am going to do more trackdays and driving as this was all the mistakes i made with the vx!

anyways.. need a geo and then a trackday to test it all out right?!?

chinky chinky

Tell you one thing annoying about the arb is you need 2 bolts to replace the wishbone bolts with as on the s1 these bolts hold the arb on. I think these bolts should be part of the kit as if I didn't have spare suspension bolts kicking around I would be stuck
