Congrats on getting your new engine in and started.
What's your handbrake solution for the GT uprights? Do EP offer a solution or are you making something up yourself? I fear ringing them up and asking in case I empty my wallet into their bank account
Getting close to 9000 RPM sounds really intense, normal car drivers don't realise how frantic it is, just the noise alone makes me clench my teeth !

he has fitted vx220/elise rear calipers and a standard lotus handbrake cable
ps: it started first push of the button once the fuel cut off switch was pressed
pps: you forgot to mention you also filled the gearbox oil
