Come to think this complete overhaul started with some poor braking.

You have no self control Joe

Getting there Joe. Where's your first outing going to be and when? I've got the same air filter on my car and it's quite restrictive compared to an open Apexi filter but it is quieter, not quiet but quieter than the Apexi!

Lol max this is all in preperaton ion for abusing the thing Found a little bit of time to work on the car: Exhaust u bend gasket made and fitted Spoiler subframe mounts fitted Found and fixed a Water drip! Gearbox earth attached Bits left: Gearbox oil Bleed brakes Bulkhead Steering rack Shift light Handbrake cable Clam / bootlid / arches / undertray and diffuser Bit pissed off with the gt hubs to be honest, I run a speed sensor for the speedo and the hubs don't have anywhere to mount it and EP suggested to make a bracket and then drill and mount it which I'm not happy about to be honest.

Made a bracket to hold the sensor on and use one of the caliper bolts. Hopefully will be ok as I don't want to drill the lovely hubs

Bled the brakes and clutch Fitted handbrake cable Adjusted speed sensor Made new custom throttle cable mount Adjusted brake lines Oh and started it up :tt: She's a runner but idling high mainly due to the large throttle body on it! So bits left: Steering rack Bulkhead Clam etc Then it's off to MBR for full suspension setup and remap/running in! Hopefully he can do it soon before Anglesey! Big thanks to the vockster!

Congrats on getting your new engine in and started.

What's your handbrake solution for the GT uprights? Do EP offer a solution or are you making something up yourself? I fear ringing them up and asking in case I empty my wallet into their bank account

Getting close to 9000 RPM sounds really intense, normal car drivers don't realise how frantic it is, just the noise alone makes me clench my teeth !
