What's your handbrake solution for the GT uprights? Do EP offer a solution or are you making something up yourself? I fear ringing them up and asking in case I empty my wallet into their bank account

 

Getting close to 9000 RPM sounds really intense, normal car drivers don't realise how frantic it is, just the noise alone makes me clench my teeth !

Well the loti now idles fine after removing and cleaned out the icv and also fitted a new o ring. And it's now been lowered to the ground of the axel stands!! Oh and camber.. Matt has a lot of camber to play with.. Considering I fitted balljoint mounts that have more meat on than the originals and I'm still running mental camber! Time to push it out the garage and get on with the steering rack / remove interior and make a bulkhead and then refit clam/arches/bootlid/diffuser and undertray!

That stupid rear clam is a mission to refit lol. Wheel arches are a pig ha.

Anyways!!

Steering rack fitted
Bulkhead made, just gotta take it to powder coaters then it can be fitted along with the seats
Hoovered it all
Raised all the suspension
Fitted clams, undertray, bootlid, wheel arches etc etc



So I'm hoping, once bulkhead is back, it can be fitted along with the seats then it's just a case of a quick clean and off it goes to MBR for full tracking / ride heights / geometry etc etc oh and then running in on the dyno and mapping!

02nd June. Through Javelin. Looks pretty quiet still and not booked on but will give you a shout when we do. He's mid engine swap at the mo so waiting for it to be back on the road.

Picked up the bulkhead

And chucked it in, haven't bolted it in yet as seats need to come out. Need to clean and paint the part of the bulkhead that wasn't removed then it's all done!

well the Honda elise / lotus civic is going to matt b tomorrow... for full suspension setup along with being run in on the dyno and then mapped....

 

lets hope those valves don't kiss the pistons shall we!! if they do a z22se will be being fitted

 

what bhp we thinking? 201? 202?
