little update i guess
the car has disappeared from me for a while
When vocky built the k20 we wherent able to check the valve/piston clearance when on maximum 50degrees vtec, so my plan was to just map it to 30 degrees to play it safe and use it, then get it tested and go for glory in winter
however decided to get it done now, it has gone for check and also a physical stop added on the vtec so that it cant exceed whatever degrees is safe, no chance of over revving etc.
then i was informed my air filter setup would lose me 10bhp along with the race cat that will also lose me power... dam this na builds are complicated.. should have just supercharged the bloody thing
anyways.... its gone away for a while to get the vtec checked, custom intake suited to the engine, decat silencer fitted with wideband fitted, remap
will be nice to have peace of mind and atleast then its all done and dusted. it can then go back to matts to have a fiddle with the geo and ride height.
then its time to enjoy the bastard thing

its not really, never had any problem at any tracks, but with removing the cat and increasing the rev limit by quite alot i guess it would be beneficial

Yeah we aren't sure how much to run (up to 50degrees) with +1mm valves and 12.5cr pistons

So.. As a very rare huge elise motorsport radiator come up for sale.. Would be rude not to put in mine right?! Won't be until I'm very bored at winter tho lol
