decided to take the rear clam off today.. i have a few jobs to tinker with

 

- new intake pipe with the air filter above, also fitting it directly to my side air intake, however first i am going to remove the 2 grill bits as they are 10mm thick and will reduce air flow

- replace cv boot

- make and fit a new bracket so i have a speedo

- modify exhaust to single exit with a dummy 2nd and look at possible fitting a resonator silencer

- also would like to get my roof scoop add on fitted

my sensible head says keep the boot

 

 

my stupid head says get rid of the boot and have a proper exhaust

Keep it usable, the more you move towards track focused, the less you'll be able to use it and the less you'll enjoy it.

decided to put heatsleeve on the throttle cable

then decided to fit a new idle control valve as my idle has been a bit iffy as off late

then made a new intake pipe for the huge filter, i think its quieter just by revving it on my drive to be honest, so i am hopeful.

Backbox is now converted to single exit thanks to Vocky

Had to reweld the hangers in a different place and then shorten them

Then painted the tailpipes. Top one is the actual tailpipe and lower one is a Dummy one
