Well managed to get a slight bit of data before my laptop died (literally.. laptops don't like water it would seem  ) My throttle position sensor is measuring 113% at wide open throttle so that can't be right!

Is that screenshot at idle? Looks a little off...

Idle seems high. Normally Honda's are set to between 750-850rpm for idle. What's the target setting under the 'idle' tab (if you have the .KAL file it was mapped with?)

Also it's not runing closed-loop? (fuel status: Open - Driving) By design in the map/.KAL or something wonky with the lambda sensor causing it to not go into closed-loop running?

Bye, Arno.

Yeah that's at idle but cold engine. Usually revs higher when cold Unfortunately I don't have the map but I'm thinking the cable isn't adjusted right which is why it suddenly opens 113%. Perhaps stretched? I will hopefully have some proper data today (fingers crossed) I can email it to you if you don't mind Thanks

Ok for some reason i dont think its going into closed loop

when i floor it my afr.cmd goes to around 12.6 but afr;1 stays at 14.7

when the vtec stops working the throttle pedal gets harder.. randomly

knock ignition limit is at 40'

my coolant guage on the stack dash seems to be registering about 3 degrees lower than the ecu is reading it.

unfortunately as i dont have the map i cant set the tps

so.. as all i have done is confuse myself, im going to fit a new fuel tank and pump along with a new throttle cable lol least that gets some jobs of the list for winter.

What's the "AFR:1" displaying (you have an explanation/help file?) Is that not simply a (stochiometric value) setting for petrol?

AFR.CMD is the commanded ratio the ecu wants to see. Does this have a WB fitted, or do you see the fuel trims/narrow band switching in closed loop?

AFR - The air/fuel ratio is calculated from the stock lambda sensor. Note that JDM, USA and some other vehicles have a semi-wide band sensor, with a range of approx 11.5:1 to 30:1 European spec vehicles utilize a narrow band sensor, with a range of 14.5 - 14.9:1.

AFR.CMD - The air/fuel ratio command is the target air/fuel ratio as determined by the ECU. Note: The A/F CMD is ignored when the ECU is operating in open loop.

I dont think it has a wideband fitted.

Hmmmm.. So the question is if your narrow band sensor is working correctly.

You normally can see/log the switching voltage in closed loop running/idling, together with the changing values of the short term fuel trims...
