If you are bored, but easier to simply log the narrow band voltages and/or the short term fuel trims...

This 14.7 AFR:1 value can be simply something that is only working in US/JDM wideband versions, but not in your engine with a narrowband sensor...

Stuck at 14.7:1 happens when the lambda sensor is not working (ECU sees no voltage change after 30 seconds after engine start), but may also be if the lambda sensor has been disabled in the calibration/mapping (usually done at a rolling road during mapping to stop the ECU from applying trims during mapping). Sometimes mappers forget to re-enable the lambda sensor..

Does the lambda voltage change between 0-1V in the live data? I suspect not...

Bye, Arno.

I suspect this is dead then! I have ordered a new one. It's done a few hundred since mapping so I suspect it's turned on otherwise I would have had a problem sooner?

Anyways I decided to get a spitfire pump and new canister

Let me know if anyone wants to buy one :D

I am sorry to quote photos but did nobody else notice this total outrage, posted in the middle of a discussion about dying laptops?

Does any one else wonder how it passed completely without comment? What is wrong with this forum these days?

That said: Joe - Red is not your colour, although you got away with it with some daringly successful accessorising.

Actually it will happily run with a disabled lambda sensor. It will just run on the programmed map. Many race cars are driven that way. Will likely not pass an MOT though ;)

The engine struggling up in the rpm range is likely something else and if the ECU is not logging any faults (I assume you have no DTC's if you view those with Kmanager?) then it's likely something in the 'supporting hardware'.

Heck.. Could even be an ignition coil that's perhaps not too fresh anymore and causing some misfires or similar.

Still.. The lack of a working lambda does mean you can't datalog some info.

Bye, Arno.

Had to take manifold off... oh that is fun in a silly s1 powered by Japan... but lambda sensor is out after getting a torch to it  Just for future reference, it doesn't run a Honda lambda it runs a rover k series lambda. Previous owner must have changed the female plug

Tell the truth you have had it sat in a salt bath for a month so you can sell more pro alloy tanks 😏
