Cool, I'll look forwards to seeing your videos. Modified cars are a pain in the but!

That's my point, because you're the one developing it instead of a manufacturer. Why don't they make the elise with good engines with ITBs?

sorry not sure i understand, i didnt make it! it was developed by skunk2 for the honda k20's

because itbs are flawed in rear/mid engined cars. unless you do a custom air box from the roof scoop to itbs with panel filter in it ;)

I meant when you change parts you have to be the guinea pig but when a factory fits a part they do 1000s of miles testing before they release the car. Those 1000s of miles are the development I'm talking about. All part and parcel of modifying a car. All the best things have their flaws ;)

Many USA Honda/Acura guys usually call SKUNK2 stuff  'Junk2'..

A lot of their stuff looks nice on the outside, but tends to thow up some definite 'corner cutting' engineering decisions in various areas.

Their cams are fairly infamous for breaking chain tensioners (sets off resonance in the chain that starts 'whipping' the chain) and the Titanium valve spring retainers have shown some serious wear/galling and breakage. Seems like they have their stuff manufacturerd at the lowest possible price-point and sometimes it shows up in the end-product.

One of those brands that can be fine with some 'pre fitment' work/fettling and be interesting at the prices they charge, but something to go in with eyes open..

Bye, Arno.

The word skunk doesn't exactly convey quality.

I'm glad I made you take me out. You needed a kick up the bum but you got there in the end. ;) You were on a proper downer and I knew it was your shoddy tyres in the wet.
