Well just spent 2.5hrs trying to sort my part throttle out

Ended up buying a new throttle cable and upgraded throttle linkage from eliseparts

Posted Image

I didnt use the cable but will save that for when its next in bits

I also fitted lighter springs to pedal and itbs but what I found was best improvement was loosening throttle cable at itb end and extending throttle pedal travel slightly

Will take it for a spin tomorrow to find out if its sorted

Here is a couple photos from the javelin sprint day I did

Well throttle is a million times better, I now have part throttle which is very useful on track!! It sometimes stays open 1% but for now I will live with that as it goes to 0 after a few seconds

Same as mine, doesn't always go straight to 0% but I guess that's quite hard to achieve as 1% isn't very much. My problem is when the throttle bodies are hot the butterflies catch slightly on the throttle barrel.

Jeeze, that sounds terrible, surely you should fix that?

comparing speeds in gears with old and new videos shows that i have quicker acceleration in the higher gears but lower top speed (obviously) will be better to compare how fast i get down bentley straight now on a trackday, before i could only get 120

im hoping for 130... time will tell.

i reckon you can get 150 down straight, either that or run the redline in 4th (145) so im still way off your top speed.

engine out this winter for some different pistons and cams

115 - 120 for me down Bentley straight depending on weather. The Z4M was somewhere between 130-140 but didn't feel any faster.

My old vx220 which is now supercharged does exactly the same acceleration in 4th that mine does in 3rd. Then when I change to 4th the supercharged car leaves me in the dust.
